Violence Intervention Peer Advocates also known as (V.I.P.A.) is a victim's advocacy organization started at Norwich University. As an organization it serves to protect and empower Norwich students and faculty to build a foundation of support for survivors. Through a combination of advocacy training, peer-to-peer support, and educational programs, V.I.P.A. will work to end all forms of sexual aggression and interpersonal violence at the university and in the greater Northfield community. This presentation will include the methods, limitations and questions that were sparked from creating an organization on Norwich’s campus.
