The study examines citizens' attitudes toward an Asian officer who accidentally killed a black citizen. Using data collected from social media sites, this study focuses on how Asian communities evaluated the incident of killing and subsequent trial of the officer. This study further illustrates how these attitudes among Asian citizens interact with the recent movement of Black Lives Matter. It aims to contribute to a better understanding of the social contexts of American policing.
