The Impact of Foster Care Placement on Delinquency

• In Event: The Influence of Family Structure and Support on Delinquency

Abstract

The current analysis will utilize data from the National Survey of America’s Families (NSAF) to examine the impact of foster care placement on delinquency. Findings from this study will enhance understanding of the role kinship and non-kinship foster placements on delinquency. In addition, findings from this research will provide insights for identifying intervening processes within the foster care system to address delinquency issues.
