Untangling Multiple Decisions in Domestic Violence Protection Orders

Abstract

Because the application for domestic violence protection orders involves a series of decisions by a number of actors, untangling the important predictors of such decisions can be extremely complex. Using a unique methodological approach, the current research seeks to determine the importance of legal and non-legal factors at various stages in the process of obtaining a domestic violence protection order.
