The discussion will explain how the criminal justice system has morphed from the arrest and release mentality of the 70’s and 80’s to partnering with private organizations such as the girls and boys clubs to achieve this goal currently. We will also cover the evolution of working and arresting single gang members for single crimes to the working of long term cases such as C.C.E.s and R.I.C.O. cases. These long-term cases are meant to take down the entire gang and have been successful across the nation in combating the cancer of criminal gangs. We will be accomplishing this by providing approximately six in-depth profiles with lengthy histories of the gang member subjects and their transformation in to and becoming a hardcore gang member and menace to society.
We believe that there is an opportunity to create a discussion on the subject matter of criminal gangs and gang members, and that the current threats they pose creates a need. There are a limited amount of research on this topic that have been recently released and or published and that we are uniquely positioned to successfully create a factual, well-written discussion.
