Twenty Years of Physical Agility Testing

Fri, Nov 18, 3:30 to 4:50pm, Hilton, Chequers, 2nd Level

Abstract

The current study shares many common features of the research conducted in 1994. This presentation contrasts the two studies and details the highlights of the process of change between the two studies. Data focused on the federal rule that a given applicant test must allow members of the least successful group to pass at a rate of at least 80% of the rate of the most successful group. Both studies included a task analysis, and tested the physical agility test components against the actual job tasks found in the analysis to be discussed by Dr. Beeson.
