The Survey that Supports a Job Task Analysis

Abstract

Currently there is a combination of survey recording and use of an accelerometer to document the demands of the job for detention deputies as well as patrol deputies. This presentation covers emergent issues in getting good data and the use of technology to gather data. Some of the issues that will be addressed are communicating and providing instruction to participants on the use of technologies; developing a research plan and model to incorporate various technologies and data types, and special issues with the use of technology in a law enforcement environment.
