The Many Colors of Crime and Justice: The Challenges of Teaching Race/Class

Abstract

The purpose of this roundtable is to focus on the challenges of teaching “Race/Crime” at the undergraduate level at a small public university, considered to be the most diverse in its state’s system. In recent years, the number of current events brings in so many teachable moments into the classroom. This roundtable will discuss the affective component of learning.
