Uncertainties Faced in the Transition from Adjunct to Full-Time NTT

Abstract

I would like to discuss issues pertaining to the challenges non-tenure track faculty face. I would like to discuss my viewpoints on the overall uncertainties faced with NTT faculty, including reappointment processes, guidelines for reappointment and promotions, and things that are generally related to being (at least for now) the only NTT for my department which leads to uncertainties with policies, voting rights, and overall service expectations.
