Comparing Missouri Prison Policies: Treatment of Gay Offenders

Abstract

Special populations in Missouri prisons are increasing. This study will collect survey data from the wardens in Missouri's 21 prisons to identify policies specifically for gay offenders. This exploratory study will assess whether such policies exist as well as their frequency of use.
