Government 3.0 and Crime Analysis in Korea

• In Event: Roundtable: GIS/Spatial Data Analysis in Criminal Justice Research and Practices

Abstract

As ‘Government 3.0’ has been announced, there has been growing interest in value and importance of crime analysis based on Big Data analysis. However, it is not easy to analyze crime by utilizing Big Data based on the raw data of crime within the criminal justice system in Korea due to many restrictions. A various ways to solve these problems should be discussed.
