Abstract

Cell phone video technology, and related forms of audio and video recording, has given new power to the citizenry in situations of alleged police misconduct and brutality to comply with the longstanding principle that "Ei incumbit probatio qui dicit, non qui negat.” This poster reviews recent instances in which alleged police misconduct is document “on tape” to discern whether patterns are emerging and to foretell what new developments might lie ahead.
