Abstract
This Youth Violence and Juvenile Justice (YVJJ) forthcoming special issue about “School Violence and Safety” focuses on theoretical approaches towards understanding school violence and safety. In general, this special issue emphasizes how interdisciplinary theoretical frameworks can facilitate researchers, policymakers, and community stakeholders’ understanding of the correlates, antecedents, and outcomes that are associated with school violence and safety.
