Service System Strategies to Identify and Respond to Minor Victims of Human Trafficking

Wed, Nov 16, 2:00 to 3:20pm, Hilton, Eglinton Winton, 2nd Level

Session Submission Type: Complete Thematic Panel

Abstract

Response to minor victims of trafficking often begins within public agency systems, where trafficking is identified and service engagement established. This panel describes three such approaches: a coordinated inter-agency protocol in California, collaborative identification and assessment in Florida, and screening of unaccompanied migrants on the southern US border.
