Abstract

Three papers explore the matter of how to provide quality legal representation at the frontiers of the law, policy and research. Shteynberg addresses the new mandate for quality legal representation at the legal frontier of the plea bargain. Anwar et al. address the need to sustain quality legal representation in face of budget dereliction in Louisiana. Beeman addresses the need in research to clarify the meaning and measurement of quality legal representation itself. Ostrom, Lee and Kleiman report the findings of an investigation of defense service delivery under the innovative ‘holistic’ paradigm.
