The Many Experiences and Consequences of Incarceration

Abstract
This session brings together four papers to discuss the varied experiences and consequences of incarceration for different groups involved in the criminal justice system including the effects of restrictive housing for juveniles, the experiences of participation in jail reentry programs for adults, the long-term consequences associated with different incarceration histories for Mexican-American men, and the effects of imprisonment on health service outcomes for young adults.
