Abstract

This panel will discuss the use of dance as a tool for social justice. Can dance have an impact on the lives of the incarcerated? How about those serving time in a maximum-security prison? Can dance further the dialog on reentry and rehabilitation of prisoner and break down the barriers of punishment?
