Roundtable: An Unconventional Classroom: Troubleshooting Teaching in the Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program

Abstract

The objective of this Roundtable is to critically discuss what works, and more importantly, what doesn’t work in the Inside-Out classroom. Each presenter will be prepared to discuss their relevant research, as well as a specific issue they've encountered while teaching an Inside-Out Prison Exchange program course. The discussion will be steered more towards a “troubleshooting” path, as opposed to focusing on questions about the Inside-Out program in general. Ideally, participants will walk away with feedback on their work, as well as potential solutions and/or ideas pertaining to challenges within the Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program.
