Session Submission Type: Roundtable Session
The purpose of this round table is to open a discussion of how sensitive topics related to criminal justice and victimization can be taught in a university classroom. Specifically, the discussants will cover areas associated to their research. The issues that will be discussed are illegal immigration and labor trafficking victimization, victim identity vulnerabilities to sex trafficking, and the disparate treatment of LGBTQ individuals in the criminal justice system.
