Session Submission Type: Roundtable Session
Recent studies of the What Works Marketplace have found that the key decision makers do not systematically use the current evidence-based registries when making a selection of a program or practice for adoption. Moreover, when a registry is consulted, they do not understand the different rating system employed by different registries or the differences in rating categories on a given registry. This Roundtable includes presenters from the CrimeSolutions and Blueprints registries and one of the researchers studying the use of evidence-based registries. The presentations and discussion will focus on how registries can improve the quality and utilization of these resources.
