Abstract

The importance of school safety and security for funding agencies, program developers, and evaluation researchers is increasingly evident. This roundtable presents a broad review of relevant issues including physical security in school settings, the importance of criminological theory in effective program design, measuring program fidelity and implementation success, the use of systematic reviews and meta-analyses to understand research evidence, and establishing evidence-based research partnerships between school administrators, program developers, and evaluators.
