Abstract

Most new PhD in the field have little knowledge of what is expected to receive Reappointment, Promotion of Tenure (RPT). They often do not know what questions to ask, what procedures to follow and most do not have mentors. This workshop will address the following questions:
1. How do I prepare my portfolio and what should be in it?
2. What are the department and college RPT guidelines?
3. What documentation should I have ?
4. What questions should I ask my chair and what is expected of me?
5. Do you have a fourth (4th) year review?
