Session Submission Type: Roundtable Session
In a world where students often see themselves as color-blind and are loath to discuss race issues, discussing police violence against minorities and the responses from the Black Lives Matter movement can often be a challenge. This round table is aimed at sharing teaching strategies to discuss the intersections of crime, police response, race, media coverage, and BLM protest/activism.
