Roundtable: Abolition Lessons from the Streets: Related Campaigns in New Orleans

Abstract

The purpose of this roundtable is to connect scholar-activists traveling to New Orleans for the ASC conference with local abolitionist work. We are building relationships with Voice of the Ex-Offender (VOTE), Orleans Parish Prison Reform Coalition, Women with a Vision, Stand with Dignity, and Breakout, in order to exchange ideas and practices that will further our common work.
