Roundtable: Supporting Early Stage Penal Abolition Researchers

Abstract

This roundtable facilitates discussion and contact between scholars with varying degrees of experience in penal abolition research. The session launches with presentations on current penal abolition projects, and morphs into a forum for researchers beginning (or wanting to begin) to explore themes of penal abolition in their work to (a) safely discuss their ideas and challenges, and (b) receive constructive feedback. Scholars without expertise in penal abolition and graduate students are especially welcome.
