Roundtable: Critical Teaching: Teaching Critically About Injustice and Inequality with Experiential Learning Strategies

Abstract

This roundtable provides a forum for discussion of teaching about issues related to justice, injustice and inequality as they relate to crime and the criminal justice system. Presenters share experiential learning methods and other techniques they have used to help students better understand these issues. The common thread through all of these pedagogical strategies is finding ways to help students understand the lived experiences of those touched by the criminal justice system and/or by injustice and inequality.
