Roundtable: Understanding the Social Impacts of Surveillance Technology

Abstract
This thematic roundtable presents preliminary research on how surveillance technology has aided/restricted the development of policing particular groups (i.e. animal rights activists and human trafficking victims/offenders) as well as how surveillance technology impacts expectations of privacy.
