Abstract

A growing area of research concerns better understanding of emerging adults (those aged 18-25) as a specific developmental period. Individuals in this age group are of interest to criminologists given their heightened risk for victimization. This paper explores how NISVS can inform the use of victim services by this age group and suggests possible policy implications.
