Swiss Homicide Monitor: Homicides in Switzerland from 2005 until 2014

Abstract

The Swiss Homicide Monitor (SHM) consists of a database including all intentional homicides committed in Switzerland between 2005 and 2014. Data was collected by examination of police and court files. Sociodemographic factors of the victims and offenders as well as circumstances of the homicides and details of the criminal proceedings are presented and are compared for different types of homicides.
