Abstract

Katie Monroe is the Executive Director of Healing Justice. Her presentation will outline the policy goals for the organization regarding improved services for original crime victims in cases where exonerations occur. Ms. Monroe is an attorney with extensive experience in wrongful conviction cases. She has organized and co-hosted listening sessions at the US Department of Justice that included original crime victims, exonerated individuals, and policy makers.
