The study addresses the victimization of vulnerable population, specifically female and children. Using the secondary data, this research identifies various risk factors that force women and children in the United States to become victims of sex trafficking, address their mental health issues, trafficking process, and evaluate their future needs. The information will be drawn from confidential case file reviews and in-depth interviews conducted with service providers, clients and law enforcement officers, prosecutors and probation officers.
