This study focuses on the mobility of sexual offenders and their victims. In particular, this research analyzes the geospatial aspects through the triangle made by the victim's location, the author's location and the location of the sexual aggression. These distances are related to the situational characteristics of the modus operandi in order to detect geospatial typologies of sexual aggression. The researchers have used data from the French Database Violent Crime Linkage Analysis System (ViCLAS). The analysis includes 2095 sexual crimes committed since 1983. Only sexual crimes in which the victim survived have been considered.
