Experiential Learning Evaluation and Implications

• In Event: Multidisciplinary Experiential Learning in Cybersecurity for Criminal Justice Students

Abstract

This talk will focus on the overall execution of the joint cybersecurity exercise with electrical and computer engineers. Some questions that this talk will address include: What was it like conducting field research (interviews and observations) in the area of cybersecurity? What were some of the unexpected events/hurdles that the criminal justice students experiences and (how) were these managed? What were the changes, improvements, complexities in the two exercises? Finally, how can such multidisciplinary cybersecurity exercises be used to enhance criminal justice students' understanding and interest in the area of cyberattacks and cyberdefense?
