Facilitators of Successful Reentry Program Implementation: Findings from the AORDP Process Evaluation

Abstract

Based on several data sources including two rounds of site visits (including semi-structured interviews with AORDP staff and organizational partners), interim telephone interviews, and two rounds of web-based stakeholder surveys, the process evaluation was designed to describe program operations in each site and identify cross-site themes with regard to milestones, factors that facilitated or inhibited AORDP program implementation, and sustainability. This paper will present the final process evaluation findings, including lessons learned regarding implementation lessons learned, key strategies for effectively working with clients, the use of evidence-based practices, collaboration and communication, systems change, and sustainability.
