Even though research shows that the number of on-campus criminal incidents has decreased steadily in the last few years, fear among faculty, staff, and students remains. Many studies examine student fear of victimization, however, very few study faculty and staff perceptions of safety and fear of victimization. The present research attempts to examine faculty and staff fear of victimization on campus. Demographic variables will be used for comparison. Also, knowledge and opinion of campus policies and procedures to prevent on-campus victimization will be examined.
