Rethinking Teaching Criminology: A Theme-Based Approach

Abstract

Criminology texts typically are arranged in historical sequence with respect to the development of the discipline. This paper re-thinks how Criminology is taught at the undergraduate level. It discusses a theme-based approach. The authors will present the themes used and will discuss their experiences with the method.
