Juvenile Delinquency and School Variables in Switzerland and Ukraine. Results of the ISRD-3

Abstract

The associations between school variables and juvenile delinquency have been assessed in Switzerland (N=4158) and Ukraine (N=1651). Due to different school systems, repeating school grades, plans after school, and school performance can be studied with respect to delinquency. For instance, one in two Ukrainian juveniles plans entering a University. However, no more than 30 percent among Swiss students plan to do so.
