Under the Obama administration, universities had begun to take steps to improve institutional responses to victims of sexual assaults. This paper explores actions that have been taken since President Trump has taken office and the effects on institutional responsibilities. It also will examine potential backlash movements, the impact of other legislative and legal actions, and activism efforts in relation to Title IX regulations and enforcement.
