Supporting Reentry through Researcher-Practitioner Partnerships

Abstract

Reentry centers, local and state governments, and researchers have joined together to develop and implement comprehensive and collaborative strategies that address the challenges posed by reentry. However, these partnerships are not without their own challenges. This presentation will focus on real-world challenges researchers and practitioners face during the planning, implementation, and research phase of these initiatives. Particular attention will be given to the ways in which these challenges have been overcome.
