School Safety

Abstract

As NIJ continues to push for research to keep schools and students safe as part of its Comprehensive School Safety Initiative, this presentation explores the evidence for what works and what does not currently on CrimeSolutions.gov. The types of threats and vulnerabilities of schools and students are diverse, and gaps remain in the evidence base for researchers to explore.
