Improving Police-Youth Interactions - Preliminary Findings from the Police Training Institute Study

Abstract

The Police Training Institute is training new and seasoned officers from departments across the country to reduce the use of unnecessary force and increase positive relationships with youth of color. This talk will examine preliminary results from the first cohort of four departments who have received training in the curriculum.
