Rape is a major problem on college campuses. This calls one to question whether it is because there is a gap between college students classification of the crime, and the legal aspects of the crime. This study examined college students' classifications of four simulations (clear rape depiction, ambiguous rape depiction, clear non-rape depiction, ambiguous non-rape depiction), as well as their perceptions of victim blameworthiness.
