In addition to its scholarly activities in the areas of police publications including a peer-revoewed journal, Police Practice and Research: An International Journal (PPR), International Police Executive Symposium, IPES, www,ipes.info, organizes an annual meeting to which police researchers and practitioners from all countries of the world are invited to participate, Usually about 50 countries of the world participate. For example, The 27th Annual Meeting of the International Police Executive Symposium (IPES) was convened in Washington DC, USA, August 8-13, 2016. Conference participants (from all six continents) met each day at the George Washington University, the host. The 28th Meeting is being hosted by Liverpool John Moore University on August 6-10, 2017 on the theme of "Organized Crime and Terrorism: Policing Challenges for Local to International Level" to which all nations of the world have been invited . The paper will present the highlights of the most important views expressed by diverse nations.
