American colleges and universities are recruiting more and more international students to study within the United States. When coming to the U.S. to study, international students are propelled into a new environment, with new people, new laws, and a justice system which is vastly different, in most cases, to that of their country of origin. To date, very few studies have been completed on the trust international students have with regards to the U.S. Criminal Justice System, in comparison to their own. The goal of this study is to attempt to answer the question of how much trust international students actually have in our Criminal Justice system in America, particularly due to the current political situation, when compared to the Criminal Justice System in their home country.
