Abstract

This study provides an analysis of drug arrests on Hartford, CT from 2005-2015. Utilizing police records, this investigation attempts to assess the changing drug offense dynamics over a 10 year span which includes the national decline of use of traditional street drugs, changing national sentiment toward marijuana, the peak of illegal trafficking of pharmaceuticals, and the recent rise of heroin use in the region
