Abstract

The 2017 Policy Panel Sessions focus on Prospects for criminal justice reform as we transitioned from the Obama administration to the Trump administration. Each session focuses on a distinct theme. This session is focused on prospect for reductions in prison populations. Jim Austin will give the lead presentation, which will be followed by commentary from Adam Gelb, of the Pew Public Safety Performance Project and from Secretary John Wetzel of the Pennsylvania Department of Correction.
