There are signals that traditional organized crime groups, at least in Italy, are declining and there are signals that more violent groups are emerging in some areas (city of Naples). The business model of these groups is different from the traditional ones, their violence of today is not compatible with the traditional O.C. violence. Is this the beginning of a process of fragmentation of traditional organized crime groups in Europe and their transformation in gangs?
