Spatio-temporal Analysis of Incidents Recorded by the Local Police of Valencia in the Period 2014-2015

Abstract

The Local Police of Valencia (PLV) records every year around 250000 incidents through the phone 092. Our interest is on those related to annoying noises that affect the quality of life, of which 23262 have been recorded in the period 2014- 2015. The analysis aims to study the temporal evolution of the incident and to construct density maps daily, monthly and by days of the week. It also seeks to identify potential sources of the problem and if they change geographically or spatially.
