A Peacmaking Approach to Desistance from Crime

Abstract

This paper aims to integrate theoretical ideas from peacemaking criminology with concepts detailed in the literature on desistance from crime. We argue that this exercise will produce testable hypotheses that will advance theoretical research in both areas of inquiry.
