The Sense of Insecurity in Bogotá: A Strong Rate of Inefficiency

Abstract

According to the criminological theory, the rate for the security perception tends to vary little in small rates amounts during time. Despite the efforts of the public institutions such as police interventions, kingpins strategies and the law enforcement, people does not feel more secure in the cities. Therefore, in this investigation, I seek to corroborar the previous findings from other researches, for he case of Bogota - Colombia.

Research question: which factors influence the security perception in the city of Bogota - Colombia?
